Felix and Rachel Rawago in Kenya teach NLBI's Bible-based lessons to students from elementary schools, junior highs, and high schools as well as those in vocational and technical schools. They began this year afresh, focused on continuing this incredible work. Here is their first report of 2026.
"As schools reopened, we resumed our programs with renewed commitment to shaping behavior, strengthening character, and building a generation that understands its true identity and value in Christ. We taught NLBI lessons to students at an elementary/junior high school and two high schools, as well as young adults at a technical school.
"The emphasis was on helping students understand
- Who they are in Christ
- Their inherent worth and value
- The importance of making choices that reflect their value
- Resisting peer pressure through strong identity
"This was a month of renewal and realignment. By focusing on identity in Christ and our value, NLBI has set a strong behavioral and spiritual tone for the year."
