"Madam, it feels as though you have lived with us because everything you taught describes what happens in our community. Many women struggle with jealousy and resentment toward the success of others. Personally, your message has touched my heart."
This was one of the testimonies from women who attended an NLBI training session led by Trainer Maximillah Ojiambo and her teammate Olivia Waibi in Uganda. The focus of the day was how to deal with challenges the women face in their families and communities.
"One participant shared that in her community, there are no counselors or mentors to guide families through their struggles. The discussions continued for a long time because many women were eager to share the challenges they face in their homes," the Trainers reported.
Through God's grace, seven women made the decision to be baptized that day.
"We are also grateful to everyone who supports this ministry of transforming lives and restoring hope to those who have lost it. May God richly bless each one of you for your prayers, encouragement, and support," Maximillah shared.
