One of the most touching moments of our recent youth training session was the distribution of three Bibles to young people who did not own one.
One young boy, living in deep poverty, had prayed for many years for a Bible. He tried to save money many times, but life’s hardships always defeated his efforts. When he finally received his own Bible, he held it tightly against his chest and said with a trembling voice, “This is the greatest gift I have ever received. I will read it day and night.”
On the second and third day, word spread across the community and around 250 youth arrived, all longing to hear God’s Word. They were so moved that they did not want NLBI to leave. They described the teachings as sweet, refreshing, and full of life.
In total, around 300 people were reached during the two-day ministry. Many testified that they had never received such deep, practical biblical teaching before.
The local pastor, deeply moved, said with emotion, “My heart has been touched. Our youth have been strengthened and encouraged in a way we have never experienced. If I had the power to bring NLBI back next week, I would. Please return soon. NLBI is a blessing to our country.”
